WELCOME TO A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR SKIN
My goal is to support you in building and maintaining that relationship. Look, we all have feelings about our skin. Sometimes we feel desperate to change it. We might resent it, take things out on it, or try to erase it. Ultimately, all skin needs attention, nourishment, and care. If you have fallen off that self-care wagon, I will help you get back on, so that you can relate to your skin in a way that supports its vivacity, longevity, and overall health.

CLEAN BEAUTY
After over twenty years of studying and practicing holistic skincare, I am so proud to have cultivated relationships with some of the cleanest woman-owned brands in the industry. From Marie Veronique, based in Berkeley, to Sonoma County's own Laurel, I am proud to offer their full lines as well as others.
Their ethos and methodologies align with the practice of holistic skincare in its most scientific, plant-based, and organic expressions. Every ingredient is accounted for, and almost all are beyond organic. Every single product I offer is formulated with the highest level of precision and care and produces impressive and sustainable results.

GUA SHA
As a certified gua sha practitioner, I am honored to offer this massage modality in my facials.
Gua sha helps to untangle and iron out the fascia and muscles by breaking up blood stagnation, freeing toxic accumulation, and promoting lymphatic drainage.
This release allows for the optimal flow of blood, oxygen, lymph, and nutrients. Additionally, gua sha helps to re-pattern the way skin ages by softening deep facial expressions and emotions that impede the delivery of nutrients and ultimately, the production of collagen and elastin.
By relaxing tension, we encourage the tissue to settle into its natural place.

ABOUT ERIN
Skincare is Self Care.
As a little girl, I would trade massage with my friends. When I became a teenager, I would take care of my mother and aunties, offering a warm compress or facial. These moments are the foundation of my understanding of the importance of the ritual of sharing the practice of self-care.
These seeds fostered the philosophy that I now work with. Just as we nourish our bodies with food as medicine, we must also nourish our skin, the largest organ of our bodies. After 20 years of working in service as an advocate in the slow food movement and as an esthetician at an organic day spa, I connected the two practices and opened up Spahaus, a holistic skincare service studio.
I offer in-person facials and virtual product consultations year-round. You are invited to connect with me for any questions about your skin, skincare, and to book an appointment.

THE SPAHAUS
The Spahaus is located 7 minutes from downtown Sebastopol, California.
Exact location and directions will be sent upon appointment confirmation.
